How Much Raw Food Should I Feed My Cat?

Every cat is different and the amount of food they require will depend on:

• Age
• Weight
• Activity level
• Metabolism
• Body condition
• Whether they are neutered or entire

Our feeding calculator provides a helpful starting point, but you may need to adjust portions to maintain your cat’s ideal weight.

Most healthy adult cats require approximately 2–3% of their ideal body weight per day

Growing kittens require significantly more food than adult cats and should be fed approximately 5–6% of their body weight daily.

Older or less active cats may require closer to 2% of their body weight daily to maintain a healthy condition. Monitor your cat regularly and adjust feeding amounts accordingly.
